In Holland, at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague, four musicians from the four corners of the world come together in 2023 to form a jazz quartet known as The Tonal Few. Antonin, a Swiss vibraphonist, Felipe, an Ecuadorian bassist, Ewen, a French drummer, and Geraldo, an Indonesian saxophonist, have found their harmony amidst the halls of the school and the jazz clubs of this vibrant city.

The meeting of these four artists was the beginning of a musical adventure as unexpected as it was stimulating. Despite their diverse origins, a deep connection was established between them from the very first moment, fueled by their shared love for jazz and their mutual desire to convey original music to the widest audience.

Inspired by their personal experiences and their common passion for musical exploration, they began creating music that transcends borders and genres. Skillfully blending influences from jazz, groove, pop, and world music, they have developed a unique sound that is both familiar and fresh, traditional and innovative.

Antonin and Felipe quickly realized that their composition styles were complementary, creating a harmonious balance between Antonin’s complexity of writing and Felipe’s authentic freshness.
